I began my illustration process on paper and then in Procreate with a stock lungs graphic. Later on, I used Adobe Illustrator to create a vector file and further refine the design.
I received mixed feedback on the detailed trachea and leafy bronchioles. When I realized my client liked the lung concept but was looking for a more stylized design, I replaced the trachea with spiraling vines.
